Evangelos Mennis has been a member of the Laboratory Teaching Staff since 2014. He taught computer science and programming under a Presidential Decree 407/80 contract from 1999 to 2013, while from 2014 to the present he has been teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the Department of Business Administration and the Department of Shipping and Business Services. From 1999 to 2014, he served as a network administrator at the Information and Communications Technology Service of the University of the Aegean.
He has been involved in the design and support of distance education by developing digital platforms for three postgraduate programs of the School of Management and Economics. From 1996 to the present, he has participated in international research programs, serving in various roles. His doctoral dissertation was entitled “Stochastic modeling for risk assessment and the study of the reliability of maritime systems.” He has published articles in international journals and conference proceedings.
