Dr Maria Salamoura is an Assistant Professor of Marketing Management at the Department of Business Administration of the University of the Aegean. She teaches marketing at the Department of Business Administration, the Postgraduate Program in Business Administration (MBA), the Executive MBA program (eMBA) and the Interdepartmental Program of Postgraduate Studies in “Strategic Management of Tourism Destinations and Hospitality Enterprises”. She is also a Tutor at the Hellenic Open University, at the undergraduate program ‘Tourism Management” (DIT) and she has been a Tutor at the postgraduate program of Tourism Business Administration of School of Social Sciences.
She holds a first degree in Business Administration from the University of the Aegean and a PhD in Marketing from the same University. She is member of the Greek Marketing Academy, the Academy of Marketing Science and the Management, Entrepreneurship & Innovative Education Lab of the Department of Business Administration of the University of the Aegean. She is also a member of the Laboratory of Innovative Tourism Entrepreneurship and Human Resources Development “iTED Lab” of the Department of Tourism Economics and Management.
She has been supervisor and member of the Scientific Committee of many undergraduate and postgraduate theses. Her research interests include consumer behaviour, customer satisfaction and service quality, tourism product development and destination image management. She has presented her research work in international conferences with reviewers, and she has published research papers in scientific journals.
