The Master of Business Administration (MBA) program at the University of the Aegean has already exceeded two decades of contribution to quality education for executives and entrepreneurs.
It is aimed at recent graduates from all university disciplines such as engineers, lawyers, mathematicians, teachers, doctors, philologists, sociologists, military personnel, physical education teachers, economists, who wish to acquire systematic and rational scientific knowledge of everyday business life in order to pursue dynamic positions in the corporate and organizational sectors, as well as to executives of private or public entities who aim to upgrade their knowledge, develop themselves, or take on another role in the same or a different company.
The primary objective of our MBA is to develop tomorrow’s leaders of companies and organizations by focusing not only on the professional training of our students but also on the development of skills, professional mindset, business thinking, and the personality required to respond quickly, with ingenuity and creativity, to continuous changes and to operate in a collaborative environment that embraces the individuality of its members.
Our curriculum is continuously evolving and enriching to be fully up-to-date and to combine at the teaching level new scientific theories and practices, as well as new trends and needs of the economy, particularly the Greek economy. Additionally, you will join a vibrant community with colleagues from different academic backgrounds and/or professional experiences, offering an exceptionally creative and dynamic educational foundation.
We consider significant advantages of our program to be the production and dissemination of contemporary knowledge, know-how, methodologies, and operational tools, as well as its link to the labor market. Esteemed business professionals are invited to give lectures and talks. Students can work in collaboration with executives as management consultants on real projects for innovative Greek enterprises and have the opportunity to write a thesis in the context of a company. Furthermore, Mentoring is adopted, career days are implemented, educational visits are arranged, and there is the possibility of participating in an internship program, as well as in the Erasmus program.
The greatest advantage of our MBA, however, is its people. You will have the opportunity to learn from a team of people with pedagogical experience and passion, with knowledge of the problems of Greek and international entrepreneurship, with teaching and research work that extends far beyond the borders of Greece and with substantial professional experience as executives or consultants in Greek and international enterprises. We also have the support of our Advisory Board, which consists of distinguished academics such as Nobel laureate Sir Christoforos Pissaridis, representatives of business bodies such as SEV (Hellenic Federation of Enterprises) but also executives and alumni of our program, and of course our administrative and technical staff.
